Consortial Benchmarks of the FIR - Companies learn from Companies

Consortial Benchmarking "Future SCM" 2018

Lern from the Best: The Future of Supply Chain Management

In the future, the supply chain management (SCM) of every company will be subject to change, which will be influenced by new dynamic business environments and global trends, among other things. In order to proactively shape this change, it is particularly important for companies to deal with their "future supply chain" in order to meet the new challenges. The increasing complexity of production and material supply processes makes mastering one's own supply chain a decisive differentiating feature and forms the basis for ensuring competitiveness.

  • What is the difference between successful and less successful companies in terms of SCM?
  • Which trend technologies influence SCM?
  • What influence does digitization have on SCM?
  • How can cooperation with suppliers or customers be strengthened?
  • How can your supply chain be designed to be agile?

If you are interested in the answers to these questions, we recommend that you take part in our survey. Because as a participant you will receive free access to your individual results after completion of the study and can derive potential for success for your company. If you are one of the five best companies, you will visit the four other winning companies together with the consortium and receive an award from FIR at RWTH Aachen University.

The screening stage has begun. Please take the opportunity to participate in the study by completing our English-language questionnaire! The deadline for submissions is November 30, 2018.

  • Each participating company has the chance to be recognized as a best-practice company.
  • Each participating person will receive a detailed summary of the main results of the study.
  • You can fill in the questionnaire as your time allows – even over several days – the data in fields already filled in will not be lost.
